Episode 161 & 162 (100718 – 100725) ~ Uiseong, North Gyeongsang (의성, 경상북도)
It’s the second annual Scorching Heat Camp, but there’s no sun and instead there’s lots of rain. Watch as the members take the Car Curling challenge, and compete against the staff in order to be able to drive a van to the base camp. Prior to reaching the camp, see how their answers to a quiz lead to the selection of animal suits as their Camp Uniforms. At the Base Camp, it’s the return of the Seop Seop Dang during the Jegi Challenge for snacks, where Seung Gi’s zebra hooves prove to be a help but Jong Min’s squid tentacles become a hindrance. The next morning’s breakfast mission teaches the members that, like Cinderella, the right pair of shoes makes for a happy ever after, and prove that Skis belong on the slopes and not on a grassy field.

Bokbulbok Mania becomes the theme for this set of episodes, where every aspect of their trip becomes defined by a Bokbulbok game. From a complicated guessing game to a simple toss of a large die, every step of the trip, from the allowance, to the sleeping arrangements, and even the destination, is left completely to Fate! Having won a small amount in allowance, see how Ho Dong beats the record for number of ramen packs consumed. And in typical 1N2D fashion, one member gets left behind to travel on his own, re-enacting last year’s Clock Girl mission, complete with wig and large A-frame backpack! For the sleeping arrangements, watch how the Seop Seop Dang compete against the New Old Boys, with Jong Min as the new KimC, in a game where Ho Dong even surprises himself with his own strength. Who would have thought that remembering fruits and fish names could be this hard?

Episodes 165 & 166 (100815 – 100822) ~ Uljin, Bonghwa, Gyeongsangbukdo (울진군, 봉화군, 경상북도)
“We are Men!” declares the Seop Seop Dang, as they compete against the newly-named Poh Do Dang in the first Strong Man Challenge, where the two teams go against each other in a rough Off-Road race, filled with exciting and dramatic reversals. After the biggest ditch of all time by the staff, the members are left to find their way to the base camp through a rough trail, using only one map between them. At the base camp, the revelation of the race results meets with some laughter and (fake) tears. For the sleeping bokbulbok, watch as MC Mong displays his Yoga talents, and we see Ho Dong and Seung Gi compete in the double jump rope challenge. For the morning mission, find out which team’s summer theme song gains the Audio PD’s vote, relegating the other team to physical challenges to gain 50 points to be able to eat.

Episode 167, 168 & 169 (100829- 100916) ~ JiRi Mountain
For the first time in 1N2D history, the members are given the task to shoot the episodes Documentary Style, as they are each assigned to present a different course of the Dulle Pass in Mt. Jiri. Ho Dong gets selected to traverse the most difficult course and everyone is delighted, except Ji Won, who gets chosen by Ho Dong to accompany him. With everyone selecting their own theme and filming equipment, the members set off to present the Dulle Pass in their own special way and style. Watch as we are treated to “Lovely Travels with Lovely Seung Gi” and feel the members’ encouragement for Jong Min, who wonders, “Where Am I Going Right Now?” As a special bonus, enjoy the soothing voice of Kim C, who is tapped to narrate each member’s documentary.
